This is great, but I don't think it looks alien. It definately looks like awol props from a graphic MTV video.(I want my MTV). Cool still life.

I guessed you were a 3D artist too from your comments on my page. I love the reflection and the slices in the table (oddly enough). The overall concept is really superb. Love the almost abstract feeling.

I'm thinking toymaker's workbench. including the notches in the front of it where he/i checked to see it the saw was sharp and its teeth properly set.

(the above commentors remind me why i've always found art classess dissappointing. the insistance art instructers often seem to have on symbolisms, which, however persistent, which i suppose is their motivation for them, seem to me eternaly stilted and cleche'd. and i applaud this being almost a satyre of their attitudes. which seriously need to be, satyred that is!)
