I like your style and I’ve seen a lot of 3d art, but your’s really stands out with your style put into it. I like your Dark hall and Dark castle pictures the most. Keep it up, seems like you got popularity going for ya.

In your last reply to me, you admitted there was a problem. "My problems are not really tool based" "(long list of programs) will not help me" "... the problem is in my head." I’ll say again. NO! YOUR PROBLEM IS THE TOOLS!
I see the shots you’re trying to produce. You’re trying to build a "mountain" with a "plastic shovel". You’re killing your self. You might even hate 3d from time to time, because you need to be in overdrive to advance five feet! What I’m suggesting is put down the shovel and switch on the heavy machinery. Do you know how awesome it is to unwrap your 3d model and paint it in photoshop? You just fall in love with your model.
I’m quitting 3d. No matter how far I advance employment eludes me.... This will be the last time I visit your gallery, not because I don’t enjoy our conversations. But when I turn my back on 3d, I will do the same for all art websites, I’m involved with. If we never speak again: Good luck.

Since the pictures are displayed by title instead of date, its going to be a pain and I also don’t know how far to go back. There is a way you can see my stuff in order.
Go to my profile and there is a link "Personal art/stories" that has my stuff in chronological order. There will be pictures that don’t fit Sci fi or Fantasy because I am more interested in Surrealism. "

I loved this app. I used it for 10 years but recently switched to Vue (Infinite). The price tag is certainly higher, but Vue has functionalities I had been longing for in Bryce for years. You should give it a try. They have a free trial edition you can use as long as you wish (personal learning edition: http://www.e-onsoftware.com/try/vue_7_ple/Missing !). IMHO, some of your scenes would look better with Vue. "Cloudland Patrol" would benefit from the awesome Vue clouds. And other scenes would be nice with soft shadows and radiosity lighting. Here is an article I wrote comparing Bryce 6 to Vue 7 if you want to see what you are missing: http://www.virtual-lands-3d.com/bryce-vs-vue.htmlMissing ! I am not writing this to advertise on software, but because I have made the switch myself and am quite happy I did. Aaron Weaver replies: "Thanks for the comment.
Too bad Elfwood does not allow for displaying pictures by date. The new stuff is mixed in with the old stuff so unless you look at the dates, you don’t know what was new or not. Most of the pictures have a date on them.
I stopped using bryce, except for unfinished projects, abstracts and sky/texture generation. Have been using lightwave for a few years now. Got a copy of Vue 5 as part of an upgrade bundle and did some stuff with it.
There are 2 pictures comparing vue vs lightwave in my gallery. They have the same subject (The improbable Patrol).
Cloudland patrol was done in Vue 5 but that was an early effort. I am interested in the Vue plugins for lightwave. "
